OPP's Level B Programme qualifies you in the use of both the MBTI® and 16PF® personality instruments. It provides a solid grounding in personality assessment and has the added benefit of being accredited by the British Psychological Society, adhering to a nationally recognised standard of quality and competence.
*Note that to qualify in OPP's ability and aptitude tests, you will need the BPS Level A certification.*
Get high-impact development capability
- This five-day programme is a huge step on the way to building your competence as a development specialist. The status of 'Intermediate Plus' reflects the fact that this is an intensive programme that provides qualification in two powerful instruments.
- Level B accreditation also enables you to apply for the BPS Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing (Level B Intermediate Plus), which can provide a shortcut to further qualifications or to the use of other personality instruments.
Two highly credible instruments
This programme is unique in qualifying you to use both the 16PF and MBTI instruments, two of the most respected, versatile and widely used personality questionnaires in the world. You will be able to use these tools to raise self-awareness, build teams, add focus and depth to development interventions and, in the case of the 16PF, improve selection decisions at all levels.
In terms of your own development as a practitioner, you will earn the distinction of having both 'type-' and 'trait-based' instruments in your professional portfolio.
You will also be qualified to use the Innovation Potential Indicator.
Comprehensive and targeted learning
During the programme you will learn:
- Administration and interpretation skills for both instruments
- Applications of the questionnaires, including:
- Selection and recruitment
- Individual development
- Teambuilding and development
- Career development and guidance
- Practical skills in one-to-one feedback
- Methods for using 16PF and MBTI electronic reports
- Techniques to write your own reports
- Technical information supporting the16PF and MBTI instruments
The programme also goes beyond the frameworks of the two instruments to give you an understanding of the wider picture of human personality: what it is, how it can be assessed and where the 16PF and MBTI tools fit in. |
