About

This two-day course qualifies you to administer, interpret and feed back the MBTI® Step II questionnaire.

It is suitable for:

• Human resource specialists
• Organisational consultants
• Counselling or occupational psychologists
• Other professionals who are qualified to use the MBTI Step I instrument and want to deepen their understanding and use of the instrument

Content

The workshop format combines small group work and lectures and includes:

• Development of the MBTI Step II instrument and construction of scales
• Type versus trait approaches
• Familiarisation with the 20 facet scales
• Interpretation of profiles
• Analysis of case studies
• Feeding back MBTI Step II reports
• Reliability and validity
• Exercises to deepen understanding of each of the 20 facet scales
• Analysis of team case studies from real organisations
• Approaches when working with groups and teams

Prerequisites

You will be expected to complete the following in advance of the course:

• Existing qualification to purchase the MBTI Step I instrument
• A working knowledge of the MBTI preferences, theory and dynamics
• Complete the MBTI Step II questionnaire
