The ingenuity issue
With the end of the recession only a hopeful glimmer in the distance, we're all being asked to take on added responsibilities and workload. Ingenuity has become an essential part of our job as we invent ways to deliver more for less. In this, our fiftieth issue of OPPinions, we will share several opportunities to help you adapt to these challenges.
We're pleased to announce that world-renowned MBTI® experts Linda Kirby and Nancy Barger will return to OPP in November. Join us in London on 3 November to hear Nancy and Linda share their insights on personality type at work during their session, Surviving Tough Times: how the MBTI® instrument can influence decisions about your organisation.
We're also giving you the opportunity to be ingenious with remaining development budgets - with a one-day sale on 23 October.
Finally, we're pleased to let you know that we are expanding our OPPassessment offer in the next month, with the release of new MBTI® reports and languages.
Read on to find out more about what's on our minds at OPP this month.

Optimal teamworking with the MBTI® instrument
Drinks manufacturer Diageo wanted its new Marketing team to really hit the ground running. The new team, comprised of some longstanding employees and some new recruits, had limited exposure working with one another. An MBTI teambuild was the perfect catalyst for cooperative working, reaping tangible positive results.

It's about teams, leadership, and new languages
We're expanding our MBTI reports for you
Within a few weeks, you will be able to use two new reports on OPPassessment that can both widen and deepen your MBTI knowledge - and we're adding new languages!
- MBTI Team Report - Develop and inspire teams with this report. Once you know the best-fit type of the team members you are working with, this 14-page report is generated for each individual team member and compares the overall team type to each person's reported type. It outlines the degree of similarity within the team, predicts strengths and weaknesses of the team, and addresses problem-solving and the possibility for conflict. The report concludes with an action plan providing advice on improving team and individual effectiveness.

- Leadership Report using the FIRO-B® and MBTI instruments - As both the FIRO-B® and MBTI tools tap into key aspects of personality such communication, problem solving, decision making and interpersonal relations, the natural next step is to bring these complementary tools together into one in-depth report, as this new product does. The report, generated from completion of the FIRO-B questionnaire, together with best-fit type, provides rich information for development at all levels.

- MBTI Profile Reports in new languages - As workforces continue to diversify and work internationally, we've developed reports in new languages to support your needs. MBTI Profile Reports in the following languages will be available from next week: Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Greek.

OPP's printed products receive FSC certification
You'll soon be seeing the FSC logo on OPP's printed products.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international body that monitors and regulates how forests are managed, working towards preventing deforestation and ensuring the ethical treatment of people who work and live in the areas where forests are maintained. You can use the logo and tracking number shown next to it to trace the journey made by the paper in OPP's books and training materials back to its source: what the FSC call a 'Chain of Custody'. By giving this information, the FSC guarantees that the paper being used comes from responsibly managed forests.
